Our Story
Lockabl was founded by a television producer who spent over 15 years making live entertainment shows. During one show recording he realised how often mobile phones were spoiling the magic: ringtones interrupted performances, spoilers leaked online and audiences were more focused on their screens than on the stage. Existing phone‑locking solutions were too expensive or impractical for British productions, and felt more targeted towards schools and the education sector. So he set out to source a simple, affordable alternative.
