Shipping & Returns Policy
This policy explains how shipping, delivery, and returns work for both Rentals and Purchases made with Lockabl Ltd. Please read the relevant section carefully, as terms differ depending on the service selected.
Shipping
Dispatch & Delivery Times
Dispatch
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
Same-day dispatch is available on Express orders only.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are dispatched the next working day.
Delivery
Standard delivery: 2–3 working days
Express delivery: 1–2 working days
Timed deliveries are not available.
Weekend Delivery
Weekend (Saturday or Sunday) delivery may be available for Rentals only, subject to courier availability and agreement at the time of booking.
Shipping Fees
Purchases
Standard delivery: £4.95
Express delivery: £6.95
Free standard delivery is available on purchase orders over £250.
Rentals
There is no free delivery on rental orders.
Rental delivery and return shipping costs are calculated as part of the quote issued through the Rentals Portal, based on the order specification (items, quantities, dates, and destination).
All shipping fees are non-refundable, including where a rental is returned early.
Couriers
Lockabl selects couriers based on reliability, value, order size, and destination.
While UPS is our primary courier, alternative providers may be used where appropriate.
Courier selection is at Lockabl’s discretion.
Order Tracking
Tracking information is provided for all orders.
Tracking details are sent by email and, for rentals, are also available via the Rentals Portal.
Returns
Rentals
Initiating a Rental Return
Rental returns must be requested via the Contact page on our website.
Returns cannot be initiated via customer accounts or third-party courier services.
Return Packaging
Rental items must be returned using the reusable plastic crates provided.
Alternative packaging must not be used unless agreed in writing by Lockabl.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is included in the rental quote unless otherwise stated.
Failure to follow the agreed return process may result in additional charges.
Rental Periods, Early & Late Returns
Rental periods begin on the Rental Start Date, not the dispatch or delivery date.
Late returns are charged on a per-day, pro-rata basis, as set out in the rental agreement.
Early returns may be eligible for a partial refund only by request and are not guaranteed.
Damage & Liability
Lockabl does not take rental damage deposits.
Customers are responsible for all items during the rental period.
Any damage beyond reasonable wear and tear will be charged post-rental.
Customers will be notified of any damage charges within 7 days of item inspection.
Normal wear and tear is acceptable and will not be charged.
Purchases
Eligibility for Returns
Purchase returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery where items are unused, unopened, and returned in their original sealed packaging.
Faulty items may be returned regardless of packaging condition.
Initiating a Purchase Return
Returns must be requested via the Contact page on our website.
Returns sent without prior approval may be rejected.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.
Refunds
Refunds are issued only after inspection of returned items.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
General Conditions
Lockabl reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.
This policy operates alongside and forms part of Lockabl’s Terms of Service.
